Kerala State Labour Co-operatives Federation
K erala State Labour Co-operatives Federation Ltd. No. 4491 (LABOURFED), headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram, is the apex body representing over 201 primary Labour Contract Co-operative Societies across Kerala. Established under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act of 1969, LABOURFED functions under the Department of Co-operation, Government of Kerala.
Affiliated with the National Labour Co-operatives Federation of India, New Delhi—the central body operating under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India—LABOURFED plays a vital role in uniting the state’s labour societies into a cohesive and progressive network.
Our mission is to empower the labour force, drive innovation, and foster sustainable development. By bringing together resources, technology, and opportunities, we strive to create a skilled, motivated, and dignified workforce. Legal Foundation
Kerala State Labour Co-operatives Federation was legally established under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act of 1969, marking the beginning of organized labor cooperation in the state.

Official Incorporation
LABOURFED was officially incorporated as Federation Ltd. No. 4491, headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram, beginning its journey as the apex coordinating body for labor cooperatives.

Successfully expanded to coordinate over 50 primary labor contract cooperative societies across different districts of Kerala, establishing a strong foundational network.
